Unity Unity XR C# Unity Physics
A VR casual game where everything came down to physics feel. The brief was simple — make it accessible, quick to pick up, satisfying to land hits — but the underlying Unity Physics tuning was the whole job.
Working daily with an experienced designer reframed how I think about VR. The hardware imposes constraints you can’t ignore: physical fatigue, presence, comfort. Every interaction was tested in headset, every iteration measured in “how long can a new player play before their arms get tired.”
What VR taught me
- Physics ≠ realism. VR feel is tuned, not simulated.
- Accessibility is design, not a checkbox. Seated mode, height calibration, comfort options.
- Test in headset constantly. Editor-only iteration lies to you.
